Class Details:

Have you ever wanted to try colorwork knitting with socks but are not sure where to start? May you’ve tried knitting a pair of socks with colorwork but they didn’t fit quick right? If so, this is the class for you. The course will begin with an overview of what colorwork is with some examples on how you can add them in your socks. We will go over how to choose the right colors for your project as well as demonstrations on how to carry your floats, as well as tips and tricks on your gauge and tension.

We’ll then put all of our learning and tips together into trying out a colorwork pattern on a pair of socks. This PDF pattern will be provided to the students at the class so they can follow along and get a free sock pattern. There will be time at the end for any questions or comments from the class. This class is for the adventurous beginner who wants to learn to add some colour to their socks.
