Class Details:

Kick-start your sweater knitting skills with this crash course on sweater knitting! A sweater requires a significant investment of time and yarn, and that can seem overwhelming to newer knitters. So let’s start small! During this workshop we’ll knit our way through a mini top-down raglan pullover while learning 1) how to select yarn for your sweater project, 2) understanding fit, ease, and measurements, and 3) the secret behind swatching and gauge (hint: it’s math). By class’s end, you’ll be ready to tackle your first human-sized sweater project—and have a darling sweater bottle cozy to boot!

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round
