This workshop demystifies and teaches the tips and tricks to successfully avoid the tangles and holes sometimes associated with intarsia colorwork knitting (adding colorful artwork or pictures in knitting). Have fun learning to use color in your knitting. You will receive a free pattern to practice your new skills.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, basic finishing techniques

Homework:

Using one of the yarns and gauge size needle and your preferred cast-on method, cast on 48 stitches. Work 2 rows of 2x2 rib. Cut off yarn, leaving a table of about 2 yards.

Supplies to Bring:

DK yarn (up to 4 colors, each color approx. 5 g scraps) your preferred knitting needles appropriate for your yarn Tapestry needle Scissors Ruler or sticky note for marking place on chart
