Duke of Nikko is a knitwear designer based in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Tokyo, Japan. He moved to the US shortly after college and established his career as a project manager in the automotive, IT services, and banking industries. He started knitting in 2010 and released his first handknit pattern design in 2019.

He specializes in Amimoji typographic knitting using language and cultural symbols. He is especially interested in incorporating his Japanese heritage in his designs.
