Class Details:

Stranded colorwork scares you, but you would like to add more than one color to your knits? Or are you a stranded colorwork pro who has never tried mosaic knitting? This workshop is for beginner to advance beginner knitters who want to learn or perfect slip stitch colorwork or mosaic knitting.

In this class, participants will learn the basics and the simple rules of mosaic knitting, as well as what happens when you break those rules (which will be encouraged!) You will also how to read a mosaic knitting chart, and explore how different stitch patterns in mosaic can help achieve different results.

Participants should be comfortable with the following:
- Knitting and purling
- Knitting in the round

Supplies to Bring:

Small quantities of yarn (preferably sport or DK weight, a few yards) in solid or semi-tonal contrasting colours, at least 4 different colours, but the more the better! Appropriate needles.
