Class Details:
This lecture will focus on the design elements of sleeve drafting and how these relate to practical considerations such as anatomy, ease of movement, garment styling and aesthetics. There will be plenty of examples of sleeve styles and illustrations throughout, allowing you to see how very different looking sleeves can have the same root - and be boiled down to basic geometric shapes such as the circle, triangle and square. This lecture would be a great companion to either or both of the Geometry of Sleeves classes, or you can enjoy it alone as an insight into the design world.
