This style of double-knitting was one of my earliest developments and is included in both of my books, but aside from an appearance in a previous version of my Texture in Double-knitting workshop, it has never made a proper workshop appearance until now. Marling is the act of working two yarns together; it can be done alongside double-knitting to add texture, stability, and the illusion of a third color. In this workshop, you’ll learn the ins and outs of combining marled garter stitch with double-knitting colorwork.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, chart reading, easy colorwork, You should be comfortable with modern (two colors at once) double-knitting from recent experience.
