Class Details:

Of all the sequence knitting triangles, Twigs and Gravel are two of the most beautiful. They are more challenging examples of sequence knitting, but very doable with some tips and tricks. In this class we’ll swatch these two stitch patterns together as a preparation to make a full-sized shawl.

Homework:

None

Supplies for Class:
  • One small ball of smooth yarn in a solid color and appropriately sized needles for swatching.
  • A removable stitch marker.
  • If you want to acquire yarn to make a shawl, you will need approximately 800 yards of DK-weight yarn to make a generous shawl. The patterns can be easily adapted to other weights. Yarns that are smooth solids are best to show off the texture. Interchangeable needles are helpful as the shawl becomes wider.
