Having conquered the basics of two-color stockinette stitch double-knitting, we can now look at some of the issues that can arise and ways to resolve any challenges you may be experiencing such as fixing mistakes, unevenness between layers and at the sides of color changes, wobbly lines and droopy edge stitches.
We’ll add skills to your repertoire for casting on with both tubular and bi-color long-tail methods. We’ll look at a variety of increases and decreases and how they partner up in a two-layer situation. Binding off by both sewn tubular and crochet hook methods. We’ll introduce mixed stitches and use reverse stockinette stitch to add texture. Please have questions ready!
