Class Details:

Learn the provisional cast-on and Kitchener stitch to create the seamless look in the Bluewater Cowl. In this class we will practice the techniques used in the Bluewater Cowl by knitting a small sample. We will also practice chart reading skills and increases and decreases to create the bias shaping in the cowl.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, increase/decrease, have knit a few accessories

Homework:

Make TWO of the following swatches:
CO 20 sts.
Rows 1–4: (k1, p1) rep across.
Row 5 (RS): Knit
Row 6 (WS): Purl
Rep last two rnds until piece measures approximately 2".
Place live sts on waste yarn.

Supplies for Class:

One skein of DK or light worsted yarn, crochet hook (4.0 or 4.5 mm), US size 6 (4.0 mm) 24" circular needles, smooth waste yarn, Post-It notes.
