Class Details:

Glorious colorwork knitting, easy-peasy! Slip stitch mosaic knitting with two colors makes your knitting look complex, but you’re only working with one color in each row. The Slip Away Cowl introduces you to five slip stitch patterns, knit flat. You can choose to use any or all of these stitch patterns to make this cowl uniquely yours. We’ll begin with an optional provisional cast on, and talk about ways to finish (3 needle bind off, seaming, or grafting).

Technique Requirements: knit/purl; cast on/bind off.

Homework:

None

Supplies for Class:

One light-colored and one dark-colored worsted-weight yarn, 100 grams/200 yards each (example: Malabrigo Rios). US 8/5.0 mm needles (straight or 24” circular), or size to get a fabric you like. Two stitch markers. Yarn needle. For optional provisional cast-on: Crochet hook size H/5.0 mm. One yard smooth waste yarn.
