Meg Swansen will talk about the unique breed of Icelandic sheep, their extraordinary fleece, and how she became the U.S. distributor for this idiosyncratic wool. You will see the unconventional set-up for this wool (in “wheels”), and how to work with it. Through Powerpoint, and in person, Meg Swansen will show numerous examples of garments knitted with unspun Icelandic (see photos).
