Class Details:
The class is all about shaping and construction. You will combine a number of classic shaping techniques and learn some less known construction methods with the end goal being to create a deceptively intricate piece, the balaclava. These piece uses a number of different needle sizes to obtain a proper fit around the shoulders, neck and head. This class will cover: - Picking up on crochet chain for a non-roll brim stockinette stitch border - Knitting in the round - What the teacher refers to as "sculpting" to manipulate and shape specific areas - Various increases and decreases - Short rowing - Tubular Bind Off These piece looks great on all genders. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease; working in the round; basic finishing techniques; have knit a whole garment; beginner crochet; short rows

Yarn: Patons “Classic Wool Roving”; 100% Wool; 120 yds/100 grams. 1 ball each of grey (G), natural (N) and dark grey (DG) or the colors of your choosing or 2 balls of one color. Want to use another yarn? Bring 250 yards of chunky weight yarn.
