Class Details:

Made iconically famous by the Italian design house Missoni, chevron stitches are wonderfully dynamic and easily manipulated by hand knitters. Laura will lead you through several variations on how to form chevrons, and then discuss gauge, design application and color selection. Your hands-on swatch will be a permanent record of how each type of chevron appears, so future project application will be a snap.

Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease

None

2–3 oz DK- to worsted-weight yarn in a light color plus appropriate needle size. 1–2 contrasting colors in the same weight.
