Class Details:
The Leaf and the Star are two fun ornaments that easily demonstrate different ways to use stacked stitches in small projects. You will leave the class with the confidence to move on to larger and more complex stacked-stitch projects such as the Fox Paws Wrap. What are stacked stitches? Stacks are a bunch of stitches piled on top of each other. They can be used to create vertical movement within a row. They create unusual shapes in knitting and colorwork without strands. Technique Requirements: Knit/purl; cast on/bind off; increase/decrease
Homework:
None
Supplies for Class:
3 colors of worsted-weight yarn. Circular needles in a corresponding size with a 20-40" cord (bamboo or other woods not recommend). Stitch markers.
