Class Details:
The mystique of the wild fox has captured the hearts and imaginations or people everywhere. Learn to needle felt a fox in this class. Techniques: 3-dimensional solid forms with some basic detail work - How to start and shape various solid forms. - How to tell when you are ready to move on to the next step, i.e. how firm is firm enough? - How to get body shape definition using the felting needle as a sculpting tool for the two main pieces (body and tail), which differe in shape - Attaching the body and the tail - Making ears - Adding face detail: nose, ear attachment and placement, and eyes - Adding feet and finishing work This is a confident beginner’s project and a great introduction for the new felter that has prior crafting experience of some kind.
