This lecture will educate participants about common upper body injuries that can occur to knitters and crocheters and ways to prevent these injuries from occurring. Participants will learn and practice injury prevention exercises, including upper body stretching and strengthening. All stretches and exercises will be performed in seated postures but can be done standing as well.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a small ball of yarn that you do not cherish. Also please bring a small weight such as a 1lb or 2lb dumbbell, a 14oz can of veggies, or even your cell phone.
