Class Details:

Breathing happens in the background. Our bodies handle it for us on autopilot so we can focus our attention on other things. If we choose to breathe actively and bring our awareness to our inhales and exhales, we learn to utilize our lungs fully, reducing stress and soothing our nervous system. When knitting we can use our breath to maintain an internal equilibrium. In this class we will explore breathing fully, and a range of breathing practices that complement your knitting experiences. We will look at techniques to bring our awareness to the present moment and keep us calm even when we’ve dropped a stitch. No prior experience required.
