Class Details:

Learn how to properly assess and determine what it will take to get your older wheel spinning once again with a spinning wheel restorer. In this session, Heavenly will share insight, by use of an antique wheel, how to check drive wheel alignment, evaluate moving parts, and how to choose an appropriate drive band material for an older wheel, including assembling it properly to avoid malfunction.

Finally, learn how to take reference notes for your vintage, retro, or antique wheel and reimagine the yarns that can be created on it. If you have an older wheel that has been put aside because it is frustrating to use or if you are wondering if there are minor repairs and adjustments you can do right at home, then this class is for you.

Homework:

None

Supplies for Class:

Bring your retro, vintage, or antique spinning wheel, a few yards of crochet cotton size 20 or 30, and a notepad, pen or pencil.
