Class Details:

This class will look at design modifications not just from the perspective of the method required to realize various modifications, but also from the point of view of the skill level required, their hidden consequences for the garment, and their potential impact on construction and finishing techniques as well as the design itself. We'll establish some best practices for an approach to design modification that will enhance the outcome along with some guidelines that will help you avoid disappointments. In class, we'll work through a set of intentionally designed exercises that will focus on the most common design modifications undertaken by knitters and that will suggest an approach and method for each aimed at insuring their success.
