Name
Hedge Apple Textiles
Class Description
I left a high-pressure career, reconnected with fiber arts, joined the Fiber Guild (KC), made stuff, made friends. Then beautiful, sustainable, industrial felt found me. I made (too many) bags for myself, then someone asked for one—and my tiny company was founded. My bags begin with fine industrial felt used by designers for its toughness, sustainability, and beauty; the same qualities found in the hedge trees of my beloved Kansas prairies. I add embellishments and tend toward one-of-a-kind items as I debate the merits of zippers vs. snaps, big vs. small, clutch vs. crossbody, grayscale vs. color. Designed by me. Made by me. One bag at a time.
