Jeanette Sloan is a knitwear designer, author, and writer who lives in the seaside town of Hove on the south coast of England. In her 30-plus years working as a textile designer, Jeanette has designed for both machine and hand knitting, crochet, and embroidery and has authored or contributed to many books on hand knitting. She is renowned for her playful sense of color and texture, and many of her accessory designs feature intarsia, embroidery, and innovative stitch patterns that blur the lines between knitting and crochet. Having written a book on the subject, she has a long-held fascination for beaded knitting, leading to her Beaded Colourwork class being featured in Knit Stars Masterclass Events Season 6.
