Echoing a long tradition in woven textiles used for both home and fashion, Ikat dyeing allows the knitter to control color placement, creating patterns that are dyed-in and range from squares to columns to rectangles. Learn the technique for harnessing the dyed repeat, then practice knitting stacks; learn to re-position for new patterns, and gain confidence in controlling the colors. Leave ready to tackle a project!
