Class Details:

This is a fun and colorful class for crochet beginners. Learn how to hold a crochet hook, make a slip knot, crochet a foundation chain, and crochet a slip stitch. These are all the skills you need to make a cute flower crown. Use embellishments that you have around the house—like pom poms, sequins, beads, or rhinestones—to make your flower crown unique! This is the perfect opportunity to ask all the questions and make a fun project while practicing your crochet chains.

Homework:

None

Supplies for Class:

An I9/5.50mm, J10/6.00mm, or K10.5/6.50mm crochet hook (any medium-sized hook that you feel comfortable with), scissors, tapestry needle, a few yards of super bulky green yarn or approx. 10 yards of worsted-weight green yarn, a few yards of at least one other color of worsted-weight yarn (like white) to make flowers, any embellishments you have around the house (like pompoms of various sizes, buttons, sequins, rhinestones, or beads) to create the center of your flowers and to embellish your crown, a hot glue gun (you can also use a fast-drying fabric glue like FabriTac, but a hot glue gun is the least fussy).
