Cowgirlblues is a young yarn dyeing business based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are all about colour, quality, inspiration and authenticity. South Africa is the world's biggest producer of mohair, and we have great merino wool too. Our yarns are a selection of some great combinations of these fibres, locally sourced and spun, and all our colours are dyed by hand. We are a team of amazing women, mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds, and empowering women through work is a hugely important part of what Cowgirlblues is about.
