This class is in a one-hour lecture format. There will be time for Q&A at the end but no hands-on attention.
Ever catch yourself looking at your favorite things, places, or green spaces and thinking “I could knit that”? Wanting a way to act on this lovely impulse led me to develop The KNITSONIK System: a method and process for turning the world around us into stranded colorwork we can wear. In this lecture I’ll share my creative journey, starting with my sound art interest in celebrating daily life (SONIK) and ending up with my current focus on translating everyday inspirations into knitting we can make and wear with joy (KNIT).
