Class Details:

Have you ever made a project and it was way too big/too small when you were done? The feeling is so disappointing, but in this class we will go over everything you need to know/do to get AND maintain perfect gauge when crocheting.

Technique Requirements: beginner crochet, knowledge of sc, hdc, dc.Working flat

Homework:

Using stash yarn, crochet 3 swatches in rows of hdc that are approximately 4" by 4". One using an appropriate sized hook, one using a hook 1-2 sizes smaller and one using a hook 1-2 sizes bigger. Eg.Using DK weight yarn, crochet 3 swatches using a 4mm hook, 5mm hook, and 6mm hook. If time allows, block your swatches.

Supplies for Class:

Bring your swatches, some more stash yarn, and appropriate sized hooks. Measuring tape or other measuring device. Any questions you may have about crochet gauge!
