Class Details:

In this class, I will walk you through creating your own wall hanging using only cord and some simple knots. By the end of class, you will have a beautiful art piece to show off anywhere in your home!

Homework:

Prep instructions will be emailed out to registrants 1 week prior to class. You will be able to complete the prep instructions up to an hour in advance of class for anyone signing up day of.

Supplies to Bring:

You will need two items for this workshop. The first item is a sturdy rod of some sort to hang your cord from. I recommend a wood dowel (quick purchase from any hardware store) but you can also get creative and use a stick or old knitting needle! Measurements: at least 8 in/20 cm in length at least and no thicker than 1/4 in/0.5 cm in diameter. The second item is 43 yd/40 m of 3 mm macrame cord if you would like to make the design as pictured (if you would prefer only 2 spirals on either side, you can make this with 35 yd/32 m of cord). Macrame cord would be ideal to use for class (easy and cheap to purchase online if needed), but alternative options are feasible as long as they are about 3 mm thick.
