Anita Grahn, of AnitaYarn, is a knitwear designer and indie-yarnie operating from Uppsala, Sweden. She uses Swedish sheep’s wool from local farms and angora wool from her own rabbits to produce limited edition hand-knitting yarns. In her live sessions, she will be telling us about her process from picking the wool fleeces and cutting her rabbits’ wool, to having her yarns spun especially in Swedish spinning mills. How about the silky Driftwood yarn, spun from her own angora and lambswool from Swedish heritage breed sheep wool for example? She will also demonstrate some of her knitwear designs which are all available from her Ravelry designer page. On top of the lush hand knitting yarns and knitting patterns; you will find project bags, knitting tools and raw rare breed wool for spinning or felting in her Etsy web-shop!
