This session will talk you through the hows and the whys. We’ll take you through fixes for a couple of trouble spots, and how to fine-tune the fit. Suitable for knitters who have made a few pairs of socks.

• scraps of worsted-weight yarn in a lighter color
• needles to suit—4–5mm/US #6–8—in your preferred setup for knitting socks
• a short length of contrasting-color waste yarn—about 30 cm/a foot
