Class Details:

Casting on provisionally is a downright handy technique any time you want to seamlessly knit in more than one direction, whether you're casting on toe-up socks or holding stitches to be knit later. In this class, you'll learn several different methods for casting on provisionally, including the crochet provisional cast-on, the Turkish or wrap cast-on, the figure-8 cast-on, and Judy's Magic Cast-On. You'll practice each and learn which technique is best suited for various uses.

Supplies for Class:

About 30 yards of smooth, light-colored yarn in the dk to Aran range, compatible-size needles for knitting small-circumference projects in the round (dpns or circular needles), a crochet hook in a similar size, dpns several sizes smaller OR a cable needle, smooth scrap yarn in a different color, a few locking stitch markers or coil-less safety pins.
