This is a two-part class. Both sections of the class will automatically be placed in your cart when you select one of the sessions.
Fusion Knitting is a reversible colorwork technique. Design elements are created with slipped stitches on both sides of the fabric. The motif on one side of the fabric is mirrored on the other side.
In this class, we will work a small swatch in the round to practice the most common stitches and cables. Emphasis will be on reading your knitting and understanding what happens with each kind of stitch. You will learn the properties of Fusion Knit fabric, why the technique works, the notation and chart reading.
Skills Required: Students must be comfortable with cabling and working a small circumference project in the round. Magic loop or 2 circulars method recommended. This is not suitable for double pointed needles.
