Class Details:

Were you trying to work stitch patterns with twisted stitches but were not happy with how they look or struggled with the tricky purl through the back loop? Then this class is for you.

Traditional Left Twisted stitches (LTS) are perfect when worked in the round, because knit tbl is very easy and quick to do. But they are less good for the flat knitting. On the other hand, Right Twisted stitches (RTS) are especially useful for flat knitting, as well as when working in the round. Both knit and purl RTS are very easy to work. The main RTS advantages:
• RTS are easy to work because the RN is inserted always as usual
• RTS give much fuller lines of twisted stitches, compared with LTS

We will study stitch structure and the different ways of working stitches: Western, Eastern and Combined. Then, you’ll learn a really quick and easy way to work twisted stitches, in both Continental and English styles of knitting. This method is not very well known by knitters. A useful handout with text and video tutorial will be provided.
