These pockets, which are suitable for regular single thickness knitted fabrics, feel rather miraculous! Pockets are worked and completed without ever breaking the yarn. Using only a single yarn and by means of working and slipping stitches, we will build and grow a side opening pocket, complete with a selvage-edged garter stitch border for a fully finished effect. We will focus on both a vertical opening and then an angled opening. If time permits we'll review a pocket in the round from the open end.
