Class Details:

Take your brioche knitting to the next level with syncopation—the art of switching dominant colors within two-color brioche fabric! In this class, we’ll explore how syncopated brioche creates bold, reversible textures and dynamic color shifts. Casting on a small swatch, you’ll practice transitioning between knit and purl brioche stitches working flat, learn how to read your fabric, and gain confidence in manipulating color placement.

This class is perfect for knitters who are comfortable with basic two-color brioche and want to expand their skills in an engaging, hands-on project. By the end of the session, you’ll have a strong foundation in syncopated brioche and perhaps want to cast on a new project like The Drapiest Cowl!

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round

2 skeins of DK yarn in 2 high contrasting colors, leftovers are perfect. 16” / 40.5 cm long US 6 / 3.5 mm circular needles or DPN’s, whatever you prefer.
