Class Details:

Learn how to create a rainbow of colors from the natural world around you. Tammy White shares her knowledge of botanical dyeing by demonstrating a variety of methods of extraction and a myriad of materials loaded with pigment. You'll learn how to create new, secondary colors using modifiers and color-mixing if you’re only able to access a few natural dye stuffs for your first dye-adventures. You’ll also learn about making your own paints and inks from the garden or the kitchen. The lecture is designed to prepare you for your own experimenting and instruction for lasting results.
