Class Details:
Using my tried and true triangle formula, you can design your own asymmetrical shawls and cowls. These triangles are worked flat and sideways and are a blank canvas that can be enhanced with fun knitting motifs and/or be sewn together to make an entirely new shape. We will be starting our triangles in class and students can choose to make a shawl or a cowl.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease
Homework:
None
Supplies to Bring:
Materials: If you wish to make a shawl, please bring 1 skein (about 100 grams) of fingering weight yarn. If you wish to make a cowl, please bring 1 skein (about 100 grams) of dk weight yarn. You will also need US 7 needles for flat knitting and stitch markers.
