Have you noticed all of the new and beautiful Drop Shoulder knitting patterns but are afraid to knit them because of shape? In this class, I will show you how to make a drop shoulder that fits your body so that way, you end up with a sweater that not only fits better but feels better when you wear it. We will learn which body measurements to use, how to add shoulder shaping, neck line adjustments, waist and bust shaping. knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round

We will be knitting a mini sweater in class so please bring a bulky or Aran weight yarn with appropriately sized needles for knitting small circumferences. For example, the same needles that you would use to knit the crown of a hat in the round, such as double pointed needles, flexible double pointed needles (also known as flexiflips), or a long circular needle for magic loop. Please note that 9 inch circulars will not work for this project. You will also need snips, a tapestry needle, scrap yarn for holding stitches, and stitch markers.
