I always say that swatches have a lot to talk about. When you knit a swatch the right way, not only will your swatch tell you your gauge, but it will also tell you how your sweater fabric will behave. In this class, we will learn how to create a better swatch for knitting in the round and how to swatch like a knitwear designer. We will also learn how to then put our swatches to good use, such as converting them into pockets for our sweaters. knit/purl, cast on/bind off, working in the round

If you have a sweater that you wish to cast on in the near future, then please bring the appropriate yarn, needles and the pattern for that sweater. Or, bring 1 skein of worsted weight yarn and appropriately sized needles.
