This is a two-part class. Both sections of the class will automatically be placed in your cart when you select one of the sessions.

In this two-part one-day workshop, we’ll explore one of Kaffe Fassett’s most popular surface patterns, the Persian Poppy. You’ll learn how to:
• Include two or more colors per row
• Manage yarn lengths
• Weave in the “spaghetti” as you go
• Create a compelling and personal color palette

This workshop is suitable for motivated beginners who can knit and purl. Techniques you'll need to know: Casting on, casting off, knitting, purling

Supplies to Bring:

• A selection of 6-10 light or bright colors for the poppy plus 6-10 dark or deeper colors for the background. (A small ball or stout twist is sufficient for each color)
• Knitting needles (whichever size is most comfortable for you; Erin suggests a range of US 6–8 (4–5mm)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• A ruler for keeping on track with your graph
