Stitch dictionaries are full of possibility. If you want to make an accessory or embellish a sweater, a stitch dictionary gives you endless options for creating interesting textures and colors in your work. In order to really enjoy a stitch dictionary and to be able to adapt patterns to your needs, it is crucial to be comfortable with charts. Different traditions use different kinds of charts, and we’ll discuss several of the most common. You will learn to center a pattern, how to adapt a pattern for working in the round (and vice versa). You will also get a deep dive into Reversible Knitting, my new stitch dictionary full of patterns that look the same on both sides.
