Class Details:

Sometimes known as "embroidery stitches" or "elongated stitches," dipped stitches involve working into stitches that are several rows below. Although they can be worked in a single color, they are most effective when a 2nd color is introduced to highlight the pattern. In this class, Woolly will demonstrate how to knit into your work several rows below, how to find the right point, and how to maintain tension. Several stitch pattern examples will be provided for students to practice with.

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, chart reading, have knit a few accessories, easy colorwork, advanced colorwork

Homework:
Cast on 2 swatches, each 30 sts. Work 12 rows garter stitch, leaving the stitches on the needle.
Supplies to Bring:

Students will need to have oddments of yarn in contrasting colors and coordinating needle sizes.

Reminder: Please print any handout(s) prior to class and bring it with you.
