Class Details:
In this class, I’ll show you the I-cord cast-on trick I invented for a perfect stretchy cord that has no elongated stitches in the first row! We’ll bring that I-cord around the corner of the swatch and up the sides, too. Add in the I-cord bind-off as well as grafting it together so it looks seamless. In this class, it’s ALL I-cord all the time.
Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, increase/decrease, working in the round
Homework:
None
Supplies to Bring:
Worsted-weight yarn, US 7 and 8 circular needles (32 inch or longer cable, or two short cable circs); US 1 circular needle, US 9 needle of any sort (1 double point is fine, for instance).
Reminder: Please print any handout(s) prior to class and bring it with you.
