Have you ever knit a sweater that didn't fit? We've all heard about ease, but what do we do with that information? In this sweater tour, Patty will guide you through different sweater constructions (set-in sleeve, raglan, yoke, drop shoulder, modified drop shoulder, and dolman) and explain how each type interacts with the bust, armhole, and shoulder. The armhole fit can be the most confusing aspect when looking at sweaters other than the set-in sleeve. Learn what a high chest measurement is, when to use it, and most importantly, how to make your own fit decisions when you see things like “meant to be worn with 2 - 4” of ease”. If time and space permit, we'll pair up so students can create their own custom measurement sheet. Easy does it, it’s not as complicated as it sounds.

Prerequisite: Ideally should have knit at least one sweater (adult or baby)
