Class Details:

Keep your knitting simple! You can make a colorful knit while working only one strand at a time. We’ll cover garter and stockinette stripes, fancy stripes (textures), interrupted stripes (slip stitch knitting), and maybe even a bit of brioche rib. You don’t have to juggle multiple colors in a row to get beautiful colorwork!

Technique Requirements: knit/purl, cast on/bind off, have knit a few accessories

Homework:

Choose one of your three colors and begin to knit your swatch as follows: Cast on 32 stitches, knit 4 rows, change colors, knit one row, purl 1 row.

Supplies to Bring:

50g/150 yards sport- or DK-weight yarn in 3 colors (light, medium, dark), 24” circular (not straight!) needles in the appropriate size for your yarn.

Reminder: Please print any handout(s) prior to class and bring it with you.
