Class Details:
Do you have a beautiful yarn stash but struggle to find the perfect project for it? Or maybe you've collected single skeins, mystery yarns, and leftovers that you don't quite know how to use? This class will help you see your stash in a whole new light.
In this workshop, we'll explore practical and creative ways to make better use of the yarn you already own. You'll learn how to combine colors, textures, and yarn weights successfully, substitute yarns with confidence, estimate yardage, and create cohesive projects from seemingly unrelated skeins. We'll discuss techniques such as marling, striping, fading, and color blocking, as well as strategies for using leftovers and single skeins in larger projects. We'll also cover ways to organize and evaluate your stash so that it becomes a source of inspiration rather than overwhelm. Whether your goal is to knit more from your stash, shop your yarn collection more effectively, or simply become more adventurous with color and texture, this class will give you the tools and confidence to unlock the full potential of the yarn you already own.Homework:
