Jake Wheatley is the founder of Stag & Spindle, a fiber arts studio blending Scottish-inspired tradition, storytelling, and modern fiber techniques. A lifelong fiber artist focused on knitting, weaving, and spinning, Jake specializes in making fiber approachable for beginners while also connecting craft to mental health and mindfulness. He is a teacher at heart, teaching and speaking on national and international venues, and is known for his engaging, story-rich style that helps individuals build a deeper relationship with themselves and their craft.

Beyond fiber, Jake is a licensed mental health counselor and professor, bringing a unique perspective on the connections between craft, creativity, and well-being.
