There are many different types of cables known to modern knitting. In this workshop you will learn a new cable type which I have developed: Archimedes Cables (AC).
They’re three-dimensional and resemble a spiral. They can be worked on any number of stitches and they do not require an extra cable needle.
1. In the theoretical part we briefly discuss the existing types of cables, and discover how the new Archimedes Cables are different by looking at their structure.
2. In the practical part we will learn how to work Archimedes Cables, both right and left leaning. We also learn how to work Rotated Cables, which are similar in appearance to the Archimedes cables.
The necessary handout with videos will be provided.
