Class Details:

Ever wondered how the yarn in your favorite skeins comes to life? In this hands-on beginner class, you’ll learn the art of drop spindle spinning and discover how making your own yarn can transform your knitting practice. Together we’ll explore fiber prep, drafting techniques, and the rhythm of spindle spinning to create a simple single-ply yarn. Along the way, you’ll gain an appreciation for how twist, ply, and fiber choices influence the look and feel of your knitting projects.

No prior spinning experience required, just curiosity and a love of yarn. You’ll leave class with the skills to spin your own yarn and a deeper connection to every stitch you knit.
