In this class, I will guide you step by step into the magical world of machine knitting. You will learn how to set up and thread your machine, cast on stitches, knit your first rows, and understand how increases and decreases work. Together, we will create your very first piece on the machine!

Our class project will be a pair of Ruffled Wrist Warmers, which are a beautiful, beginner-friendly accessory designed to help you experience the magic of machine knitting while finishing a wearable piece during the class. The project features:
A delicate ruffled edge
A shaped thumb opening
Clean finishing techniques
A refined, modern look that appeals to knitters of all levels

This class is perfect for absolute beginners or hand knitters who are curious about exploring machine knitting. You’ll gain the confidence and foundational skills to continue your machine knitting journey at home.

Students should have access to a flatbed knitting machine in good working condition, along with basic tools (cast-on comb, weights, and yarn). No prior machine knitting experience is required.
